Construction Coordinator

Hunter-Davisson, Inc. is a commercial HVAC-R Design Build Mechanical Contractor seeking a Service Coordinator to join our growing team. The person we are seeking is a team player who is highly organized, detail oriented, and demonstrates outstanding customer service.

Status: Full-time
Reports to: Construction Operations Manager

Some of the daily job functions and duties include:

  • Organize manpower requests provided by Project Managers to match manpower needs based on criteria such as the required skillsets, project duration, previous facility knowledge, technician development needs and physical location.
  • Schedule field manpower and resources efficiently to meet the project schedule as outlined by the Project Manager.  Communicate scheduling conflicts to the Project Manager(s) affected.
  • Maintain HD Dispatch Board and monitor department workload.
  • Continually be adaptable to short term changing circumstances and communicate updates to effected parties, as necessary.
  • Coordinate with Service Department to support labor demands.
  • Assist with scheduling resources such as equipment lifts, scissor lifts and specialized tools to align with project needs.
  • Help facilitate the scheduling of training classes for technicians in conjunction with the HVAC-R Technical Manager & Construction Field Supervisor.
  • Proficient in the use of computers.  Programs include: Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.  Become proficient in Vista Construction Management software.

Physical requirements

Must be able to read, write, and communicate fluently in English.
